<8> The Examination of William Stafford Gent taken in behalfe of the Comonwealth Concerning John Waddinge of Bannoe Gent
<to the first interro> sath that the said John did in the first yeare of the warr liue in this towne of Waxford and many yeares after but how longe this deponant knoweth not the said towne beinge then in the Irish Quarters, that and sath the said Waddinge might haue remoued him selfe as other some English did but not without some danger as this deponant beleiueth to the losse of his estate, ch some of which English <q> that liued in this towne did remoue themselues and goods into the English Quarters in the first yeare of the warr without Interupcion

<to the 6th interro> sath that the said John did Joyne in Electinge such as were members of the generall asemble in 1643 and 1644 which said generall <r> asemble did nomenate and apoynt the supreame and prouinciall Councells
<to the 7th interro> sath that he is Confident that the said John Roch did take and subscribe the oath of association <s> it beinge a generall thinge
<to the rest of the interrogatoryes> he Can not depose
