The Examination of Nickolas Stafford Esquire taken on behalfe of the Comonwealth concerning the aforesaid John Waddinge
<to the first interro> this deponent sath that that the said Waddinge liued in the first yeare of the warr and euer since in the towne of Waxford and <t> many yeares since it beinge in the in the then Irish Quarters and sath that the said Waddinge might haue remoued himeselfe into the English Quarters at the first of the warr as seauerall english did
<to the 2 interro> he Can not depose
<to the 3 interro> this deponent sath that he is Confident that the said Waddinge did in the first yeare of the warr actually Contrebute in the taxe <u> taxes of the Countye to raise men and mony for the Irishe force

<to the 7th interro> this deponent sath that he is Confident that the said Waddinge did take the oath <w> of association in the first yeare of the warr it beinge generally Imposed
