William Talbott of wexford yeoman aged fortie nyne yeares or thereabouts being duely sworne and examined concerning the foresaid Owen Vadicke That this Deponent was seruant to Sir walsingham Cooke knight long before and at the beginning of the Rebellyon, And further saith that about Hallantide 1641: the said Owen Vadicke came vnto the landes of Tomduffe in Armes with about thirtie men in armes with him, and about nightfall, and did by force and Armes take driue and carry away two hundred cowes (& cattle of that kinde) of the proper goods of the said Sir walsingham Cooke The Deponents cause of knowledge is for that the Examinant was at that very time <d> appointed by his said Master to watch his cattle with others of his ser fellow seruants and did then and there see the said Owen Vadicke as one of the cheife of that Companie driuing and carrying away the said cattle in manner aforesaid notwithstanding any opposicion that this Deponent and his fellow seruants could make and further saith not &c
