Margaret Hitchins of wexford widdow aged fiftie yeares or thereabouts Deposeth Concerning the said Tirlagh Vadicke of Balligarratt gent That the said Tirlagh with a great Number of men in Armes in their Companie with him About fiftie persons came to the Landes of Tomduffe in Nouember or december 1641 and did thence driue away with them all the cowes that were then & there grazing on the said landes to the Number of Two hundred or thereabouts And the next day after the the said Tirlagh with a great Companie of other persons in Armes came to the howse of Tomduffe and plundered the same & carryed away all the goods therein to an exceeding great vallue The deponents cause of knowledge is for that she did see the said Tirlaugh come on <l> horse backe at the driuing away of the said Cattle and plundering the said howse of Tomduffe in manner aforesaid and further saith that the said cattle and howse and the goods therein were the proper goods of Sir walsingham Cooke knight this examinants master who was at that time fled to wexford for preseruacion of his life and further saith not
