The Examinacion of Teige mc Murrogh of Templeshannon yeoman Aged forty two yeares or thereabouts taken vpon Oath on the behalfe of the Common Wealth Concerning John Synnott of Colleding in the Barrony of Ballaghkeene & County of Wexford gent deceased
<To the 1st Inter> The Deponent saith that the said John dwelt at Colleding in Irish quarters the first yeare & the whole tyme of the Rebellion within 2 miles of this Deponents habitation & <b> Remoued not thence into the English Quarters as other his Neighbours English Protestants did.
<To the 2d Inter> Hee Cannott Depose
<To the 3d & 4th> The deponent saith that the said John did in the first yeare of the Rebbellion & since Contribute in the Generall Taxes for the mayntenance of the Irish Rebells against the English
<To the 5th Inter> The Deponent saith That hee did see the said John Sinnott frequently at the Publicke meetings of the Irish assemblies att or neere the Bogg of Ittay & other places in the said Barrony <c> in the first yeare of the Rebellion & since; at which meeting{s} the Irish vsed to Consult of Laying the publicke Leavies & the management of other businesse relateing to the promotion of the Rebellion against the English His Cause of Knowledge appeares being first Expressed.
<To the 6th Inter> The deponent saith That hee hath seene the said Sinnott at publicke mee e tings goeing to the publicke meeteing of the County for the Choice of members for the Generall Assembly The place appointed for that choice was <d> the peere of Colestuffe The Cause of this Examinants Knowledge is that this Examinant was at the said Sinnots Towne when he was ready to take horse for his Journey & threatened this Examinant in Case he went not telling this Examinant that he (the said Synnott was then goeing himselfe
