Teig mc Murrough of Templeshannon aged forty two yeares or thereabouts being sworne & examined touching the foresaid Rich: Synnot of Balliroe gent deceased saith vizt
<To the 1st inter> The examinant deposeth that the said Rich: dwelt at Balliroe aforesaid in the Irish quarters the first yeare & the residue <I> of the Rebellyon distant about three miles from this deponents then habitacion & from thence the said Richard did not remooue into the english quarters as the english and protestants Inhabiting neere him did.
<To the 2d inter> Hee Cannot depose
<To the 3d & 4th inter> The deponent saith that the said Richard did contribute his proporcion of publicque taxes as to the raysing of men <k> Armes, money, victualls & such like for the promoting the rebellyon, And that likewise the said Richard did act and abet the robberyes Comitted vpon the english & protestants in the first yeare of the rebellyon, His cause of knowledge ensueth vpon the 12th interrogatory

<To the 5th inter> The Deponent saith that the deponent did see the said Richard, at, with & of the publicque meetings of the Irish of the said barrony of Ballaghkeen (in the first yeare of the Rebellyon <l> & since) who were assembled in refferrence to take Councell how to manage their Rebellious designe against the english.
<To the 7th interr> The Deponent saith that he verily beleiues the said Richard did take the oath of associacion for that it was a generall thing
<To the 6th 8th 9th & 10> Hee Cannot depose
<To the 11th & 12th Inter> The deponent saith that one Mr Smith a minister & brother in law to the said Richard dwelling vpon parte of the said landes of Balliroe bellonging to the said Synnot fled thence to Dublin for preseruacion of his life, And that the said Synnot vpon his departure did seize & possesse himselfe of the said Mr Smiths <m> goods, Cattle and houshould stuffe to a considerable vallue by what order or power the deponent knoweth not The deponents cause of knowledge is in that the deponent did know the said Smiths goods & substance being frequent with him during his Residence heere & afterwardes the deponent did see the said Synnot to vse & enjoy the said Smiths good and Cattle.
