The Examinacion of Marcus Power of Banow yeoman aged thirty yeares or thereabouts taken vpon oath Concerning the foresaid Marcus Synnot of Rosgarland gent
The Examinant saith that he well knoweth the said Marcus Synnot & for many yeares past did know him & the deponent further saith that the said Marcus Synot was inn actuall Armes for the Irish against the english acting & abetting the said Rebellyon as a <z> priuate gent & Joyning with the Irish that fought against the Lord of Ormond at Ballibegg neere Rosse vpon or about the 17th of March 1642 at which time the said Marcus Synnot had noe Comand for ought knowne to this deponents kno His the deponents cause of knowledge is for that the deponent being at the said fight of Ballibegg the time aforesaid did then & there see the said Synnot in Armes as aforesaid & further Cannot depose &c
