Aprill the 12th 1642
Richard Carter of MountRath in the Queenes County coumptie weauer sworne saith that about the Last of November 1641 he was Robed & dispoyled by the Rebells off his goodes as followeth vizt his Garden profett & his houshould goods worth fiue powndes thes And that Edmond Orie and wife and daughter of Mountrath tooke the Benefitt off this po o re mans garden but who tooke his goodes hee knows not he tooke And the deponent was by the Rebellion deprived of a due debte two pownd tenn shillings <owing vnto him> Tho: Colken now a rebell with f f lorence ffitzpatrick & the deponent beinge but a stranger att MountRath knowes no [ ] Rebells But those Rebells there They said they cared for no Laws, for they were the Quenes souldiers
