The examinacion of Arthur Cheeuers of Ballimadder in the County of wexford gent aged about thirty six yeares taken vpon oath Concerning the foresaid Nicholas Mayler of Duncormicke esquire
<To the 1st Inter> The Examinant Deposeth & saith that he well knoweth the said Nicholas Mayler for that he dwelt at the begining of the rebellyon & since at Duncormicke in the County <t> of Wexford in the Irish quarters, & thence did not remooue into the english quarters, as this seauerall protestants as Namely Nicholas Row Griffith Humpheryes & others Liuing in the same barrony with the said Nicholas Mayler His cause of knowledge is for that the deponent dwelt nigh to the said Nicholas his habitacion
<To the 2d> The deponent saith that the said Nicholas Mayler in or about Sept{ember} in the yeare 1649: vpon the lord generall Cromwells approa{ch} to wexford with his Army deserted his habitacion farme at <u> Duncormicke & remooued into the County of Kilkenny when & where the deponent did see the said Nicholas Mayler, the reason of his the said Nicholas his remoouall the deponent knoweth not
<To the 3d inter> The examinant deposeth that in the first beginning of the rebellyon about Christmas 1641: the deponent did see the said Nicholas Mayler in Armes among the Irish that <w> then did beseige Duncannon forte th en at that time guarrissoned by the Lord Esmond, what Comand the said Nicholas then had this examinant cannot depose
