The examinacion of James Murphy of Rathmacknee yeoman aged twenty fiue yeares or thereabouts taken vpon oath on the behalfe of the Comonwealth Concerning Olliuer Murphy of Ballirandall in the barrony of Ballaghkeen & County of Wexford gent deceased
<To the whole> Matter of the Interrogatoryes the examinant saith and Deposeth that about Hallantide 1641: the said Olliuer with about a great Number of men in Armes with him, came to Tubberfarnie in the said barronie & County the dwelling howse of Anne wadsworth an english woeman and a protestant which was about a mile distant from the said Olliuers habitacion, which howse of Tubberfarnie he the said Olliuer being Armed with a pistoll & sword & his confederates, did with force & Armes breake and enter, and did plunder & carry away with them the pewther brasse and a payre <s> of virginalls with all the rest of the said Annes howshould goods And threescore & sixteen cowes one hundred and fiftie sheep & lambes, three garrans & all other the goods and chattles of the said Anne wadsworth with her wearing apparell which the said Olliuer and his Complices did without any order knowne to this deponent onely by their owne wicked and fellonious mindes
The Deponents cause of knowledge is for that this Deponent was at that time a seruant to the said Anne wadsworth & was in the said Annes howse at the selfe same time when the same was broken vp & plundered by the said Olliuer and his confederates in manner aforesaid and further saith not
