Teig Murchoe of Kildarran gent aged thirty yeares or thereabouts Deposeth Concerning the said James Murcho alias mc Hugh That the said James dwelt at Balliadam within three miles to the deponents habitacion the first yeare & the residue of the rebellyon And further saith that the deponent did see the said James Mc Hugh <y> at the publicque meetings of the Irish Inhabiting the said Barrony of Ballaghkeen at a place called Ballaghkeen & at other places of the said Barrony as well the first yeare of the rebellyon as since At which meetings the Irish vsed to Consulte of the Levying monyes for maintenance of the Irish forces & for the securing themselues against the english And the deponent further saith That [ ] Michaell

Murchoe sonne to the said James was Collector or receiu{er} of the Contribucion for the Irish in some time [ As he conceiues ] of the Rebellyon or since the english coming to the said County in the middle quarter of the said Barrony <z> of Ballaghkeen, where this Deponent sometime Liued But the certaine yeare he knoweth not, & further saith not.
