Danyell Doyle Late of Knockliduffe gentleman aged sixty yeares or thereabouts being duely sworne and examined concerning the foresaid Brian alias Breine Murcho gent deceased, Deposeth & saith
That the said Brian dwelt in the County of wexford in the Irish quarters the first yeare & the residue of the rebellyon till he died, f And further saith That the said Brian was a member of the County Councell in the beginning of the said Rebellyon & before the 10th of November 1642: And did Joyne with the <o> Councell in signing & issueing warrants into the s Countrey for the raysing of men for the traynbandes [ ] & moneys Amunicion & prouisions for their maintenance of the they b eing Irish forces in Armes for defence of the Countrey against the english The Deponents cause of knowledge is for that the Deponent was a member of that Councell in the said first yeare & did see the said Breine sitt and act with the said County Councell in manner aforesaid and the deponent further saith that the said Brians sonne Morish Murcho was Captaine of a trayneband Company in the first beginning of the said Rebellyon and as this Deponent heard by the generall relacion of the gen Inhabitants of the Countrey the said Morish was the onely man that plundered Richard wadsworth an englishman and a protestant who was possest of a Considerable stocke or substance and further saith not
