Richard Scusse late of Drissan in the parish of Glanbarahan & barony of Carbry within the County of Corke yeoman (a brittish protestant) duely sworne & examined by vertue of &c deposeth & saith That on or aboute 13th of Jan: last & since the begining of this rebellion in Ireland he lost was robbed and forceably dispoyled of his goods and Chattles to the seuerall values following vizt worth 206 li. 10 s. part consisting in debts due from the vndernamed Rebells viztOf Cowes calues mares horses & sheepe to the value of one & ffortie pounds ten shillings Of houshould stuffe to the value of eight pounds Of ffishing craft & herings to the value of one & twentie pounds Of Corne in stacke left vpon the g round which he conceaues to be lost to the value of twelue twentie pounds Of debts amounting to foure & twenty pounds ten shillings due from Donnell o Donovane of the Rahin in the said County gentleman Donnell oge o Donovane of the same Donogh o Donnovane of ffornagh in the said County gentleman ffynen oge mc Carty of Rahin aforesaid gentleman Henry Gogen of ley parish in the said County [ ] yeoman Edmond Wells of Castlehaven in the said County clerk But in regard the said Wells is vtterly dissenabled by meanes of this rebellion & the rest out in actuall rebellion therefore this deponent canot gett satisfaction from them He is likewise dispossessed of his said ffarme wherin he hath a lease of one & T wenty yeeres to come haueing payed a hundred

399pounds ffine for the same besides much chardges layed out in building & Improueing the same wherin <B> he is damnified one hundred pounds The totall of his losses amounts to two hundred & six pounds ten shillings He saith that his Cattle & goods were taken away abou t e the time aboue mencioned by Donnell o Donovane aforesaid & his servants tenants vizt Dermod o Callaghane of Myras in the said County yeoman Dermod mc Cnoghor of the same yeoman with diuers others whose names he doth not remember H e l ikewise saith that abou te the later end [a forth] night before Easter last & further he deposeth not
