The examinacion of Thomas Codd late of Garrilough in the barrony of Ballaghkeen gent aged fiftie fiue yeares or thereabouts taken vpon oath on the behalfe of the Comonwealth Concerning Patricke Masterson of Clonemore in the barrony of Ballaghkeen and County of wexford gent
<To the 1st Inter> The Examinant saith That the said Patricke dwelt in the County of wexford seaverall yeares of the Rebellyon <q> (he the said Patr being of kinne to this deponents wife) where the said Patr Continued without remooving himselfe into the english quarters.
<To the 2d Inter> The Deponent saith That the said Patr being in England in the first beginning of the rebellyon Did Come thence into the County of wexford where he Continued till the Lord generall Cromwells <r> arriuall at wexford the deponents cause of knowledge is in that the said Patricke came to this deponents howse after his Coming out of England to see the deponents wife to whom he the said Patr was allied
<To the 3d & 4th & 9th Inter> The Deponent saith that the said Patr did contribute his person in Armes for the Irish against the english and did act and abet the said rebellyon against the english by being a Captayne of a Trayne band Company in the County of wexford about the yeare (1645: the deponents cause of knowledge is for that the said <s> Patr vpon his Conferrence with this deponent told the deponent thereof that he was a Captayne of A trayneband Company as aforesaid and sithence the said Patr is gone to Spayne with a Companie of ffoote vnder his Comand as he beleiues & heard and further saith not &c
