John ô Murrow aged fiftie eight yeares or thereabouts deposeth Concerning the foresaid John Parle vizt
That he knoweth the said John Parle for & that the said John dwelt at Rathyarke within a mile to this deponents habitacion the first yeare of the rebellyon and afterwardes & did not thence remooue into the english quarters [ ] And further saith not that the deponent did see and know the said John Parle to bee in actuall Armes in the Christmas 1641: acting and abetting the Rebellyon against the english by his the said Parles being in the Company of Collonell William Browne in the Capacity <m> of a priuate souldyer with and among the Irish at the seige of Duncannon in which Company the deponent serued at that time in a priuate Capacity being in Christmas 1641 as aforesaid and further saith not &c
