The examinacion of Patricke Lamporte of Ballecrenigan aged about fortie yeares taken vpon oath on the behalfe of the Comonwealth Concerning James Peirce of Ballell in the Barrony of forth & County of wexford gent vpon the Interrogatoryes annexed to the Comission of enquiry
<To the 1st Inter> The examinant deposeth and saith that the said James did Liue at Ballell in the said barrony & County in the first yeare & the whole time of the rebellyon & did not thence remooue into the english quarters <b> as he might haue done with Nicholas Codd Adam waller Edmond Burdeaux & other protestants liuing neere him the deponent knowes no cause of hinderanc{e} of his said remoouall except it were his povertie the deponents cause of knowledge is for that the deponent is nigh neighboure to the said James Peirce
<To the 2d & 3d inter> Hee cannot depose
<To the 4th Inter> Hee deposeth & saith that the said James was actiue in the rebellyon & did beare Armes the first yeare <c> thereof his cause of knowledge is for that the deponent did see him the said James in actuall armes in the first yeare of the rebellyon
<To the 5th Inter> the deponent saith that he did see the said James personallie present at seauerall publicque meetings of the Irish at the Crosse of Killinicke <d> as well the first yeare of the warre as sithence
<To the rest of> the Interrogatoryes hee cannot depose & further saith not &c
