The Examinacion of William Stafford Gentleman taken in behalfe of the Comononwealth Concerninge Richard Sinott of Ballebrenan in the Countye of Waxford Gentleman
<to the 1st interro> this deponent sath that the he doth not remember whither the said Richard did liv weare at his howse aforesaid or at Dubline in the begininge of the warr <e> but is asured that he was at ballebrinan soone after the warr broke forth (if not at the begininge) and hath liued there euer since beinge all the warr there in the Irish quarters and sath that the said Richard might haue remoued himeselfe into the English quarters as some English did but not without hazard to losse of Estate and further saith that the said Richard was in the begininge of the warr a protestant and hath benn for many yeares past a papist and is soe at this day

<to all the rest of the interro> this deponent sath that the said Richard was in or about the yeare 1646 actings as as a Comissioner of the armye in the Countye of Waxford and there i s raised signed warrants for the raisinge of <f> monyes for the Irish forces and that the said Richard tooke the oath of associacion and was a Captain of horse against Owen Roe oneale and this deponent as to the said Richard further Can not depose
