Thomas Rosceter of Hobbinstowne yeoman aged about twenty eight yeares being duely sworne & examined touching the said Richard Synot of Ballibrennan saith that to the best of the deponents remembrance the said Richard was on horsbacke at Bourkstowne wea with a sword by his side, in the first yeare of the rebellyon, & to the best of the deponents remembrance it was about easter in the said first yeare that the deponent did see <n> the Richard there in manner aforesaid, with the Irish forces of the Countrey, but the deponent doth not know of any Comand that the said Richard Synnot had at that time and further saith not
