The Examinacion of Marcus Power of Bannow yeoman aged thirty yeares or thereabouts taken vpon oath on the behalfe of the Comonwealth Concerning John & James Hood of Bannow freeholders deceased in the County of Wexford
<To the 1st Inter> The Examinant deposeth that he well knew the said John & James Hood for that they dwelt in Bannow all the time of the rebellyon neere to the deponent from whence <o> the said John & James did not remooue into the english quarters as seauerall english & protestants did The said John being since that time dead & James the suruiuing heire
<To the 2d inter> Hee Cannot depose
<To the 3d & 4th> Hee saith & deposeth that the said John & James did contribute their persons in Armes for the promoting the Rebellyon against the english: His cause of knowledge is for that the deponent did th see the said John & James in the Company & vnder the Comand of <p> Major Dauid Synnot at the fight at Ballibegg assisting the Irish & fighting against the english which fight was neere Rosse about the 17th of March 1642: & further Cannot depose
