William mc Richard of Redmondshall husbandman aged about fifty yeares who being duely sworne & examined Concerning the said william Hore vpon the whole matter of the Interrogatoryes saith & deposeth that the deponent was a seruant to Mr Redmond of Redmondshall in the first yeare of the warre & was in the said howse when a party of the english Came <l> by water from the forte of Duncannon & shot against the said Redmondshall when and wher e whether there came a partie of the Irish forces in Armes (which was to the deponents perfect & sure remembrance vpon St Margarets day in July after the warre brake forth in the yeare 1642) & there fought with and killed & drowned of the english about the Number of one hundred parte whereof this deponent afterwardes buryed: And the said killing being done the deponent keeping the said Redmonds doore with a spit did see the said william Hore & Anthony Hore his sonne & John Deuereux of Mountpill & Thomas Roch of Dryuagh & others Came into the said Mr Redmonds howse in Armes when & where the deponent did see the said Hore & the rest sallute & were to be salluted by the said Mr Redmond & that they dranke in the said Mr Redmonds howse, his cause of knowledge appeares & saith that seauerall of the Irish souldiers that were at the killing of the english as aforesaid came with & in the Company of the said william Hore into the said howse & there dranke, And further saith that the deponent did see Leiutenant Esmond & the

english souldyers taken prissoners at the fight who were brought into Redmondshall, when the said william Hore & the rest were there as aforesaid and f ur from thence the said Leiutenant Esmond & english prissoners were carryed to wexford & afterwardes <m> hanged at Ballihacke as the deponent hath credibly heard, and further saith not
