James Peirce of Ballell gent aged fortie yeares or thereabouts deposeth Concerning the foresaid Patr Roach That the examinant did see the said Patr frequently with the County Councell in wexford the first yeare of the rebellyon <h> acting as a member thereof And to the best of the deponents Remembrance the said Patricke was one of the Comissioners of the Armie but the certaine yeare the examinant canot Remember & farther saith that he did see the foresaid Patricke Roach with & among the Irish in Armes that were encamped & [ ] laying seige against Duncannon forte wherein the Lord Esmond & the english then kept at which time the said Patr did weare a sword & was on horesbacke ffor any office millitary that the said Patr then had or any seruice performed by the said him the deponent knoweth not & further cannot depose
