The Examinacion of John Silvester of Ros{s} aged about 28 yeares taken in the behalfe of the Lord Protector and ComonWealth of England duly sworne & examned deposeth as foll: against the seuerall persons whose names are inserted in the Margint proprietors of houses & smale parcells of land in and about Ross
To the first and 2d Inter hee saith that the seuerall persons whose names are inserted in the Margint did live in the Towne of Ross in the first yeare of the Rebellion & sithence and did not remove into the English Quarters as other English and Protestants did
To the 3d Inter hee saith that the aforenamed persons did pay all publique Levies imposed vppon them during the first yeare of the <a> Rebellion & sithence as others of the Towne did it being imposed vppon all
To the 4 5. 6 7 & 8 hee cannot depose
To the 9th hee saith That Barnaby Dormer and James Archer was Soueraignes of the Towne of Ross since the first yeare of the Rebellion and before the Comeing over of of the English Army vnder the Comaund of the now Lord Protector
To the 10: 11: 12: & 13 hee saith not
