The Examination of Morris Neale of Ross aged about 60 yeares taken in the behalfe of the Lord Protector and Comonwealth of England duly sworne and examined deposeth as foll: against the seuerall persons whose names are inserted in the Margint proprieters of houses and smale parcells of Land in & about Ross
To the first & sceond Inter hee saith that the seuerall persons whose names are inserted in the Margint did live in the Towne of Ross in the first yeare of the Rebellion & sithence and did not remove into the English Quarters as other English & Protestants did
To the third Inter hee saith that the aforenamed persons did pay all publique levies imposed vppon them during the first yeare of the Rebellion <z> and sithence as others of the Towne did it being imposed vppon all
To the 4: 5: 6 7 & 8 hee cannot depose
To the 9th hee saith that Barnaby Dormer and James Archer weare soueraignes of the Towne of Ross since the first yeare of the Rebellion & was before the comeing over of the English Army vnder the Comand of the now Lord Protector
To the 10th 11th 12th & 13th hee saith not
