The Examinacion of John Jepson aged thirtye yeares or there about taken in behalfe of the Comonwealth concerninge Robert Rosseter late of of the bridg of barge Gentleman desessed
<to the 1st interro> this deponent sath that the said Robert did liue in the first yeare of the warr and two yeares after at which tyme he dyed [h ] <n> at his howse aforesaid which was in the Irish Quarters and sath that the said Robert might haue remoued himeselfe into the English Quarters as many English did in the first of warr
<to the 2 interro> he can not depose
<to the 3 interro> this deponent sath that he h is Confident that the said Roberte did actually Contribu{te} <o> in the taxes of the Countrey to the maintainance of the Irish forces in the first yeare of the warr
<to the 4 interro> this deponent sath that the said Roberte did acte in the warr for that this deponent saw <p> the said Robert at the batle nere the Ross in armes against the English in march 1642
<to the 5th interro and the 6th> he Can not depose
<to the 7th interro> this deponent doth beleiue that the said Robert did take the oath of associacion <q> it beinge generally imposed
<to the rest of the interrogatoryes> he Can not depose
