The Examinacion of John Silvester of Ross aged about 28 yeares taken in the behalfe of the Lord Protector and Comon Wealth of England duly sworne and examined deposeth as foll against the seuerall persons whose names are inserted in the Margint proprieters of houses and smale parcells of Lands in and about Ross:
To the first Inter hee saith that the seuerall persons whose names are in the margint inserted did <I> live in the Towne of Ross in the first yeare of the Rebellion and sithence and did not remove into the English Quarters as other English and Protestants did
To the 2d hee saith not
To the 3d hee saith that the aforenamed persons did pay all publique levies imposed vppon them during the first yeare of the Rebellion & sithence as others of the Towne did it being imposed vppon all
To the 4th 5 6 7 & 8th hee cannot depose
To the 9 hee saith that Antho Dowell was Baylife & Collector of the Towne of Ross since the first yeare of the Rebellion
To the 10th hee saith that James Delahide had in the begining of the Rebellion one <k> Mr Cooper an Englishman liveing on his Lands who then went into England his cause of knowledge is that Mr Brombery Lieutenant Collonell Stevens and one Mrs Cottle went with them at that time as this deponent was informed
To the 11: 12 & 13 hee cannot depose
