John ô Murrow of Maglasse aged fiftie eight yeares or thereabouts being duely sworne and examined Concerning the foresaid Patricke ffitznicholl deposeth and saith
That he well knew the foresaid Patr & that the said Patr dwelt all the time of the rebellyon at Ballehartie in the Irish quarters & did not thence remooue into the english quarters as Nicholas Row a protestant, who liued neere to the said Patr did, And further saith that he knoweth not of any office or Comand that the said Patr had or executed: But saith that Martyne fitznicholl one of the said Patrickes sonnes was in actuall Armes abetting the rebellyon in the Capacity of an ensigne in the Company of Collonell William Browne at the seige of Duncannon forte about Christmas 1641: & along time afterwardes in which <r> Company the deponent for seauerall monethes during the said Martynes acting in that capacity serued: & further sath that Robert ffitznicholl another sonne to the said Patricke was in actuall Armes in the Capacity of a priuate souldyer in the first yeare of the rebellyon at the seige of Duncannon forte the deponents cause of knowledge is for that the deponent did see the said Robert acting in Armes as aforesaid which Martyne & Robert had free Recourse vnto & were harboured, Releiued and maintayned by their said father during their actings aforeaid & afterwardes his cause of knowledge is for that the deponent hath seen & knowne them the said Martyne and Robert in their said fathers howse kept & maintayned there as children and further saith not &c
