The Examinacion of Edward Synnott of Dungulph gentleman aged about thirtie one yeares taken vpon oath on the behalfe of the Comonwealth Concerning Olliuer mc Garrott of Ballincurr in the barronie of Ballaghkeen & Countie of wexford gentleman vpon the Interrogatoryes Examinant on the Comonwealths behalfe.
<To the 1st Inter> The Examinant saith and deposeth that the said Olliuer all the time of the rebellyon dwelt in the barronie & County aforesaid in the Irish quarters the first yeare without remoouing himselfe thence into the english quarters <s> as Sir Walsingham Cooke knight Edward Chichester esquire Mr Tristeen & other english & protestants in them partes did: The Deponents cause of knowledge hereafter appeares
<To the 2d Inter> Hee cannot depose.
<To the 3d & 4th Inter> The Deponent saith That he is certainely perswaded that the said Olliuer did contribute moneys & prouisions to the maintenance of the Irish forces, the first <t> yeare of the Rebellyon, and further the deponent saith that he beleiues the said Olliuer did act & abet the said Rebellyon against the english for that the deponent did see the said Olliuer frequentlie Resorte to and hold Intimacie with Sir Morgan Cauanagh the Cheife actor of the said Rebellyon in them partes of the Irish barronyes to whom the deponent was a seruant in the said first yeare of the Rebellyon, & tooke notice of the said Olliuers frequent accesse to & his familiaritie with the said Sir Morgan Cauanagh
<To To the 5th Inter> The Deponent saith That the deponent did see the said Olliuer at diuers publicque meetings of the Irish that <u> assembled before the said Sir Morgan Cauanagh at seauerall places of the Countie of wexford in the said first yeare of the rebellyon [ ] l In order to aduise & consulte of the management of their designe & carying on the Rebellyon against the english & to the Rest of the Interrogatoryes he cannot depose and further saith not &c
