Ralph Waddington of St Johns gent aged sixtie foure yeares or thereabouts Deposeth concerning the said James Jordane That the Deponent well knew the said James Jordane for that he frequented the towne of St Johns where the deponents dwelling was: And further saith that the deponent did oftentimes see the said James accompanying Sir Morgane Cavanagh knight in Armes to the towne of Eniscorthy in the first yeare of the said Rebellyon before the 10th of Nouember 1642 where the said Sir Morgan vsed to assemble the Irish to consulte of the carrying on their Rebellion <x> against the english Att which meetings the deponent did see the said James personally present with a sworde & skeane by his side, coming with and attending on the said Sir Morgan at the time, place and manner aforesaid And the deponent further saith That this deponent credibly heard by the generall relacion of the Countrey & of Walter Lacie Agent to Sir Henry Wallop That the said James was one of them that plundered and tooke away the said Lacies cattle in the yeare 1641: he the said Lacie being then a protestant & further saith that the said walter Lacie hauing questioned the said Jordane for the plundering of his cattle, they came to a Composicion or freindlie agreement for the same, but what end was made thereof the deponent knoweth not & further cannot depose &c
