<Rusill ffinger> aged aboutte sixties thre (Laite of Caperquene duly sworne and exsamaned the 24th of Nouember 1652 saith that Aboute the begininge of the sesatian theare came A conuoye of the Irish with one of the parlamets Captons from Clamell to Capperquene & sum of this conuoy <A> parswaded thre of Captain Croakers sons and diuers others of Capperquene to goe Alonge with them towards Mounton Castle to mete them the next day Aboute selinge sum tobacco and while they parswaded them of the Castle to stay and drinke one of the Conuoy brought Capton ffennell & his troupe who killd thare Ensigne Coale & one Clement & A Butcher and hanged one Richard Rielay and touke thre of Capton Croakers sons and Hew Gyles this exsamaned son in Law and diuers others presoners The Cawse of his knowledge was that his said sonn in Lawe & the rest of the presoners did diuers times tell soe much to this exsamaned after they weare Released
