<A> The Examination of Bryan Kerney, Taken the 5o of November 1652
Sayth t[ ] that hee was Command by the Barron of Laghmo, and went to Cashell with Phillip O Dwyre of Dundrum, hee sayth that hee did noe Murther, butt hee <A> sayth that Vlicke Bourke was in the place where the Cheife Murther was, and that hee this Examinant tould the said Bourke hee would bee questioned for that Murther, hee sayth that hee did nott breake open any tronke, or take any goods out of Cashell Except A saddle which hee tooke from A soldier of Lt Collonel Tibbott Buttlers of Killoskine, to whome this Examinant was Leiut: by Commission from the Barron of Loghmo. hee sayth that hee heard some frinds to phill: Mc Thomas Odwyre tell the said Phillipp to his face, that hee Murth the said phillipp Murthered Mr Bannister, and the said phillip did nott deny itt. hee conf further sayth <A> that the said phillipp Confessed, hee had Mr Bannister purse of money. and further hee saith thatt. hee [ ] heard Vlicke Bourke say that hee was present when John Lindsey alias Linch was Murdered. and further hee sayth nott.
