<2d December 1652> The Examinacion of Richard Seller of Corke gentleman 22 yeares &c.
Beinge duely sworne vpon the holy Evangelist and examined deposeth and sayth that about the Latter end of harvest in or aboute October 1642 there Came a great many of Rebbells to his ffathers <A> house, and as he Crediblie heard that knogher รด Bryan and one Captain O Grady Comaunded that partie and that there was one William Called by the name of William the Shepard and his ffather in there Company and then they there they murdered this deponents ffather mother sister and three servants b but whoe murdered them he Certaynely knoweth not but veryly beleeueth that they there were some of Mrs Bryants Servants with the sayde Rebells for that the next morneinge after Mrs Bryan would not suffer Captain Allen or any of his party to goe into her house, And ffurther sayth not./
