<David Condon> <20th October 1652> The Examinacion of Phillipp Magragh of Kilstolan in the County of Corke gent beinge duely sworne and examined vpon the holy Evangelist deposeth and saith that he heard that six souldiers were that Came of from the Lord of Inchiquin and that they were wounded, and some left for dead within the woods of Ballybegg and that he heard that twoe or three of them, Came to this deponents house in his absence and as his servants told him, that they lent them some lynnen to wrapp theire woundes with, and that they directed them to doctor รด Connorys house, but what became of them after he knoweth not and ffarther he sayth that he heard that one James Condon had some of <A> the Troopes horses that was killed, and that he and his partie were the men that tooke them prisoners from Kilgullan, a village belonginge to david Condon no a s a kinsman to the said James Condon and ffurther sayth not
