<20th of October 1652> William Connery of Carrigrenny doctor of Phisicke deposeth and sayth that he well knowth that there was twoe wounded souldiers which Came to his house beinge directed thither with a servant of Mr Phillipp Magraghs and this deponent demandinge of them were they were hurt they tould him that they were in a Cabbyn in the next towne were the Church was <B> beinge Kilgullan, a village belonginge to david Condon a prysoner and there they was were taken out of the sayde house, they beinge six in number & were Carryed to the woods of into the woods & there the rest were killed & the escaped as aforesayd, and after this deponent had dreessed

<C> one daniell mc Shane mc ffirr of kilgullan sent his man to this deponents house & required the wounded men out of his house, which he att first refused but after he sent for this deponent & threatned him that if he did not send them out that he should dearely pay for itt, soe he was Constrayned to deliuer them into him, and that he heard after they were killed and that he heard that James Condon had one of the Troops horses that was killed but whether he was att the killinge of them or noe he knoweth not.
