<3.> Teige Cunnigane aged fivety five yeares or thereabouts being duely sworne and examined by virtue of his oath sayth;
<D> That about March 1641 Dermod Carty alias Glacke (with a great number of men in armes whome he commanded) assaulted the towne of Crookehaven and that a servant of his called John รด Conagh a Cooper killed an English woeman the wife of one William Allen as she was drawing of water.
He further sayth by virtue of his oath that the Inhabitants of <C> Crookehaven (being distressed by the said Dermod Glacke) sent a letter Eastward by a mayden, signifieing theire condition and that the said Mayden was Intercepted and hanged in a wood by the command of the said Dermod Glacke
