the examination of John Barry McRedmond beinge duly sworne & examined sayth;
That hee beinge a weaver liued in a little Cabbin Close by the Castle of Downedanell, & that this deponent saith that the Commaunders of the Castle were at that time Donnogh mac ffeeneen & ffeenene mc Teige Glibben, & Donnogh Murly, & that the s ward of the Castle, by the Commaund of the aforesaid Donnogh mc feeneen & the rest were brought to the Castle, three Englishmen, vid Richard Coombes seinor & Richard Coombes Junior & John Baker where they gaue them bread & drink & told them, vnlesse they Could make the Brother of the said Donnogh Murly aliue againe, that they wold hange him them, & that the eldest <Combes> of them of them offered, for himselfe & his sone tenn pound which they Refused, butt hanged them within two houers affter the said Richard Coombes the Elder & Richard John Baker & the said Richard Coombes proffered as hee heard thirtie three pounds for his life which they accepted of & promised him his life, but after brought him to the place where they executed his father & there hanged him, & & further saieth not:
