The examination of Teige mc Shane Adashwone duly sworne;
<A> Saith, when he was a boy about the first yeare of the warrs, that Donnoh O Murly & Dermod O Murly & ffeeneen O Murly were then in Equall Commaund in the Castle of Downedannel, that they tooke three Inglishmen; whose <names> were Richard Coomes the Elder & Richard Coomes the younger & John Baker, & after quarter giuen them were Brought vnto the Gallows & there Hanged, & likewise hee saith that Richard Coomes the younger Elder did Condition with them promise if they would saue his life & his fathers sonnes life that he wold give them tenn pounds which they promised they wold, it not but when they had Receiued the money they went & Immediatly executed them; & did likewise saith that one Donnogh O keefe was an Actor a verrie great Actor in the same
