<x 3)> Henry Hill of Ringrone parish aged 32 yeares or thereabouts being sworne vpon the holy evangelists & duly examined saith he knew one William Gussam that liued with Mr Marsh at Oldcourte in Coursyes & it was generally reported <A> that the said Gussam was fetched from his Masters [ ] house & carryed to Kilbrittan & there murthered by the ward & there that belonged to McCarty Rea, Where he was murthered: & further saith that he knew Mr John Stepney whoe was murthered vpon John Carnys land in Coursys Country, by some of the foresaid Ward of Kilbrittan as the generall report went, alsoe he knew one Arthur Glanfield, that was Murthered likewise vpon the said Carnys land by the foresaid ward of Kilbrittan, belonging to McCarty Rea, & further saith that there were a sawyer & two English men more to be murthered on John brownes land in Coursyes countrey by the said ward of Kilbrittan all which was in the yeare 41 & 42 & further saith not.
