<x> <10)> Teige mc Ennis of ffrehan aged 60 yeares or there abouts being sworne & examined <E> saith that he was tennant on the land of Garry Lucas when Mr John Stepney was Carryed out of his house by eight of MacCarty Reas men whoe came from Kilbritten one where of he knewe very well to be MacCartys talor; his name was Cormuck o Daly & saith they carryed him vpon James Carnys land & there murthered him; this deponent was present & saw one of those men haue Mr Stepneys Cap, & he beleeues the said Cormuck had his clothes, & like wise three gould rings & further saith not
