The Examination of Brian McSwinny Bellogh taken before vs the vij of Sept 1652
Saith that in the first yeare of the Rebellion, he was putt Comander of the Castle of Kilbrittaine, by the order & Comand of McCarty Reagh, (by a verball order) and that he remembers that there was hangd before Kilbrittaine Castle, one John Goosain, that was taken by the soldiers during the time of his Comand there, and that there was an Englishm youth hangd there about the same time, And this Examinant Saith he heard that one of those two abouenamed rose out of his graue & was hangd the second time, and father he saith that not!
