The examjnacion of Cnogher ô Bohilie of Macrone in the County of Corke aged thirty twenty three yeares or thereabouts taken the second day of december 1653
Who beeing duely sworne and examjned deposeth and saith, That about at the begining of the Rebellion the examjnant liued at Macrone aforesaid, and <A> dureing his aboade there hee obse obserued one Coigan bring an a young man from about kinsale to Teige ô Callaghane Macrone aforesaid and there the said youngman was putt into the stockes, and soone after the examjnant saw the said Youngman hanged but by whose order or dirrecion the examjnant knoweth not, hee saith that the said Teige ô Callaghan was <B> Marshall there then, but knoweth not whither or noe the said Teige was at Macroone when the said Youngman was hanged as aforesaid Beeing demaunded whither or noe the Lord of Muskery was then there at Macrone saith that the said Lord Muskery was at Macrone that weeke that the said Youngman was hanged, but whither or noe it was before or after the said Youngman was hanged hee knoweth not, The examjnant further saith at the same tyme that the said Youngman was hanged there was
