William Garton late of Ballyhayes in the County of Cavan yeoman duly sworne and examined deposeth That since the beginning of this rebellion hee hath lost and beene dispoiled of his estate to the value following vizt of the benefitt of one Lease in the County of Cavan and of a stocke of Cattle vppon the same valued at one hundred and twenty sixty five pounds fowerteen e shillings of the benefitt of one other Lease valued in the County of Monaghan together with a stocke of Cattle therevpon valued at threescore and five an hundred and twenty pounds and fower shillings, of corne hay and other implements for husbandry valued at thirteene pounds fifteene shillings, of houshould stuffe Lynnen and woollen apparrell, Brasse pewter and other houshould provision and necessaryes belonging to his house worth, and valued at an hundred and fower pounds and eleaven shillings, of ready money twelue pounds tenn shillings, Amountinge in all to three hundred and sixteene pounds, And the deponent further saith That hee and and his wife and Children were banished and driven away from his place of b aboad and in theire iourney towards Dublin were stript by other rebells, by which meanes some of the deponents children being perished by cold & famished with hunger have since theire comeing to Dublyn dyed, The cheife of which rebells were <a> Phillip รด Rely of Lismore in the County of Cavan aforesaid Esquire, and Phillip o Rely of Ballynecargy in the said County and many others theire adherents servants assistants and Complices whose names hee knowes not
