The Examination of Mowrloch oreardon Aged 30 years being duly sworn and Examined saith Thatt in the secont year of the warr hee Liued att Blarny with one Jo o reardan Capten Lieutenant and Comander of the Castle at thatt time, and This Examinantt saith thatt as hee was keeping his Masters hors in A medow he hard som people shooting att which hee Looke vp and saw som men runing vpon the the Topp of A hill and this Examinantt saith hee went toward them to see whether they wear frind or Enimies if Enemies Thatt hee might gett home his hors, but when hee Cam to them he saw them to bee of ther own party Killing some Inglish peaple <A> som wheroff This Examinatt did know, and Coming In to them Toke Away from them the widow Husey and her dawghter Kathirin Husey and her son Hen Husey A boy Aboutt sewen year old, and went owt of the way Cros A feild into A nother high way and this Examinatt wentt Abowtt A mille with them all most to the Howse whear one Kitt Benitt did liue, and som of the gawrd thatt was Killing of the rest of the peaple he Left behind when hee Came Away with The Aforsaid persons did Crose the way and mett with them att A passe, and some Cam runing after them in the same way and ower toke them and ofered to fall vpon them, butt This Examinatt resisted them and wold nott Sufer them too medle with them att which They promised they shold goe Back safe too macroom, then they Cam all back part of, the way, till they Cam to A little Bogg and A brook and ther they mett the rest of the party, they Came All Abowtt this Examinatt and one with A dongfortt Thrust att him and Another with A sword <B> strok this Examinatt on the head and then one strook down the old womon and then this Examinatt sowght too sawe the young woman and the Boy butt doe whatt he Cold They by force Toke them A way and Killed them A vpon the placs and This Examinatt did run Away as fast as hee Cold fearing They shold kill hime allsoe The names of those Thatt this Examinatt knew thatt did this ackt was was Will Slaborah and one Teag mc Dermod Carty roe of the Barony of baratts and one Edmond Murphey kild on Teag Sowdey wether dead or kn noe he knoth nott Edmond Cotter in the Barony of Barimor weu er and donah Long liwing att Inehaly neer macroom Jo Long whether Liwing or dead he knoeth nott Knoer macTeag whether dead
