Donough mc dermod Aged sixtie fiue years or theraboute being duly examined deposeth and saith
That he liued in the begining of this Rebellion att Curry clogh in muskery within two mile of Robert Scotts dwelling house, and saith that Robert Scott afforsaid aboute Candlmas in the first yeare of war came with his familly and goods vnto this deponants house for and dwelt with this deponant at his house afforsaid and staid with him for the space of six weekes and then remoued to William ô Morohow his house land and afterwards in his owne house who liued then at Clogha Cowe aboute halfe a mile distant from this deponants house, and remained theare as he remembreth aboute nyne weekes, and then the afforsaid william ô morohow went to Castlmore to dwell, and left the said Scott and his family in his the said morohows house, in haue some shorte tyme after one Phillipe ô really, Th Teig Relly, another Teig ô Realy, donough mc Teig Dermod mc Cnoghor; of which there came and murthered him the said Scott; Phillip ô Relly was a souldier butt in whose Company, he knoweth not, butt saith that the rest were all Cuntry men; and that he saith that Teig ô Relly was hanged for that murther at the Rock of Cargadrohid by the Lord Muskery orders, and that donough mc teig was hanged near Cargad r o hid alsoe the next day by the lord Muskery for thatt morther the rest were killed and hanged by the English party except one Phillip ô Relly, whome he thinkes is in owen ô Loghors Company
