<Kinsale ffebruary 17o 1653> Depositions taken Concerninge Redmond Barry of the Barrony of Orrery in the yeare 1641
Swithen Waltane of Orrery Aged about 34 yeares beinge sworne and Examined Saith that hee Liueinge in Orrery afforsaid in the yeare 41
<1)> That hee Knew the afforesaid Barry Liuing then in Orrery afforsaid which was then the Enemyes Quarters and Continued ther{e} Almost duringe the time of Warr
<10)> That hee had a sonne was in Actuall Arms in the yeare 41 and had Comand of An Irish Company
That hee tooke into his Custody the goods of this deponent Viz about 40 Cowes <12)> and 140 sheepe, by his owne Authority and how disposed of hee knowes Nott other then to his owne use use and farther saith Nott Taken before us
