Phillip Holmes of Mallow Gentleman Aged aboute 44 yeares beinge sworne and Examind saith that hee Liued att Killbelana in the yeare 41 that hee knew the afforesaid Barry Liuinge as afforesaid the yeare 41
That hee did Actually Contribute Asistance to the Eneimy by barringe Ladders and other utenc utencells for scalinge English Garrisons the same yeare

That hee had a sonne in Actuall Rebellion and had Comand of an Irish Company
That there did Liue of English neere this deponent Robert Meade Esquire since dead Mr Richard Jermyn since dead Mr Edward Austine dead Edward Austine now in Kerry Lieutenant Tho: Meade now in the Iland
The Cause of this deponent Knowledge is that hee Liued att Kilbolane in the yeare 41 that there was taken of the said Redmon Barrys sonnes Company Seuerall men which did say that hee the said Barry did Cause Ladders to bee made and brought to sum garrisons defended by English Viz Liskarrill and Annagh
