<Kinsale ffebruary 16o 1653> Depositions taken Concerninge Edward Galway of Kinsale in the yeare 1641
William Meager of Kinsale Aged about 69 years beinge sworne and Examined Saith that hee Liuinge att Kinsale in the yeare 41
That hee knew the afforesaid Galway Liuinge in Kinsale the same yeare
That hauinge soldiers Billited upon him as diuers others of the Towne had for <3)> the safety of the Garrison Amongst them hee had one whose Name was Galway of who whome hee Claimed Kindred the which hee preuailed withall to Leaue the Garrison and to goe out and Asist the Eneimy which hee accordingly did
The Cause of this deponent Knowledge is that hee knew A wench that was Whipt for helpinge Away of the said soldier and farther saith Nott
