Edward Keinew of Martilestowne in the Barrony of Kinalea Aged about 35 yeares beinge sworne and Examined Saith that hee Liuinge att Martilestowne afforesaid that hee in the yeare 41 that hee knew the afforesaid Galway Liuinge in Kinsale in the yeare 41
That hee did Actually Contribute Asistance of Amonition prouition to the Eneimy the same yeare
The Cause of this deponent Knowledge is that hee in the yeare 41 was inforced to Leaue his then Liuinge and flie to Kinsale for safety and Entertained himselfe in the forte of Kinsale and beinge Comanded out upon sum Seruice mett two a women that had one there backs the uallue of 4 stone of Butter and halfe a beefe this deponent then questioned the afforsaid women where they had this prouisions there Answere was that they had itt att the next Castle the which to Confirme this deponent Carried them back towards the said Castle where they denyed that they had itt not there but that the afforesaid Galway itt was sent by the toryes to the afforesaid Galway in Leiu of Amonition
