<Mallow March 9th 1653> Depositions taken Concerninge Theobalt Roche of KillAthey in the Barrony of fermoy in the County of Corke in the yeare 41
Tho: Beasley of Mallow Aged about 34 yeares beinge Sworne and Examined saith that hee Knew the afforesaid Roche Liuinge as afforesaid the same yeare
That hee the said Roche was in Actuall Armes in the yeare 41
The Cause of this deponent knowledge is that hee beinge A soldier of the English partie was att the takinge of the afforesaid Roch his Castle held out by him in opposition to the English
