<Mallow March 9th 1653> Depositions taken Concerninge Redmond Roch Esquire of Ballihendon in the Barrony of ffermoy and County of Corke in the yeare 41
William Groues Esquire of Cardoogan in the afforsaid Barrony Aged about 66 yeares beinge Sworne and Examined Saith that hee liued as afforesaid in the yeare 41 that hee Knew the afforesaid Roch Liuinge as afforesaid in the yeare 41
That the afforesaid Roch was in Actuall Armes with the Eneimy the Same yeare
The Cause of this deponent Knowledge is that hee beinge in his owne Castle before men mentiond was Suppriced and taken therein by the afforesaid Roch and this deponent was Sent away a prisoner by him
