<Kinsale ffebruary 25th 1653> Depositions taken Concerninge John oge Barry of Doundeady in the Barrony of Jhone Barriroe in the yeare 41
Larrance Cory of TractonAby in the Barrony of Kenelea Aged about 34 yeares beinge Sworne and Examined Saith that hee Liued neere the said Barry in the yeare 1641
That hee was in Actuall Armes with the Eneimy and had Comand of A Company the same yeare
That there was of English Liuinge neere this deponent Viz John Rich since gone for England Tho: Kewes now in Kinsale John Jagoes now in Kinsal{e}
The Cause of this deponent knowledge is that hee was taken prisoner by the Said Barrony Barrye and was kept prisoner by him the space of 12 months att which time hee saw and obserued all his Actinge in the yeare 41 and farther saith not
